Claude and Blender – model 3D worlds with a few lines of text!

About 2 min read

Picture a 3D modeller’s ordinary working day – you type a couple of lines of text and in a moment a modelled dragon appears on screen – no complicated coding! Siddharth Ahuja’s X post on 11 March 2025 revealed how Claude AI and Blender combine to create 3D worlds – Finnish tech folk are thrilled, because this is like a sci-fi story happening right now!

Siddharth Ahuja’s MCP integration connects Anthropic’s Claude AI to Blender via the Model Context Protocol, creating 3D scenes – such as a low-poly dragon – from just a few instructions. It opens the door to AI-assisted 3D modelling, building on the power of open-source Blender. It’s aimed at developers and should be available on GitHub or via Ahuja’s link (estimated cost from free up to a licence fee) in spring 2025 – a futuristic tool for creativity!

The Claude–Blender combo is like a starry sky on your keyboard – endless inspiration! In everyday life it can mean new 3D projects with a fun twist. Fun fact? You can create a dragon and call it a “Finnish forest guardian” – technology meets humour!
